As an undergraduate, DeVoy founded the student-run newspaper The Courier at Canisius College and went on to become Editor-in-Chief of FORUM, the official newspaper for the Public Relations Student Society of America, serving on the society’s national committee. In law school, DeVoy was a member of the Wisconsin International Law Journal and served on the executive boards of the Federalist Society and Moot Court Board. He received the highest grade in his civil procedure class and was awarded “best oralist” during moot court tryouts.
