Here’s an interesting one… a Washington band, “The Wailers” is suing “The Wailers” (as in “Bob Marley and”) over their use of the band name. Again, why write about it when my friend Michael Atkins does such a great job. Side note, I seem to have great friends in all the right places, because my pal Rob Apgood is one of the attorneys for the plaintiffs in this case. (And Mike represents the Defendants. What a small world!).
I’m not passing judgment on either attorney’s legal ability, but given the facts and the law, I reluctantly place my money on the Defense in this case.
