Before making his decision not to grant clemency to Karla Tucker, Governor George W. Bush claims that he prayed on it all night with God, and God told him to abide by the laws of the Great state of Texas.
I presume that he still speaks to the same God… and that God thinks that his disciple, George W. Bush, should not abide by the laws of the United States — and that Scooter Libby’s 2 1/2 year sentence was too harsh.
For you kids:
Death penalty = God told me that this was a-ok!
30 months in a country club lockup = that’s too harsh
