This is a revenge porn case. Nicholas Gilroy was dating a girl, collected nudes of her, and then distributed them under the screen names “Sorelekto” and “Soreleckto”. Most revenge porn cases involve a jealous ex posting the nudes, but they are rarely as motivated by a disgusting sociopathy as what this guy has done. Gilroy originally denied he was Sorele(c)kto, but after we took discovery, we found that the posts came from his home’s IP address.  After that, he changed his answer and admitted to having done it.

On one of his posts, he wrote:

“Exposing Bailey Broadrick’s nudes
without her consent
makes me cum so fucking hard.”

Yeah, and some of those nudes were of her when she was passed out during cancer treatment.

In an interesting twist, Gilroy tried to get that quote (and other quotes) stricken from our complaint.  We opposed of course.  He lost, and the court decision became a reported decision.  Broadrick v. Gilroy, 786 F. Supp. 3d 487 (D. Conn. 2025))

We took this case without any regard as to whether we would ever be paid.

What happened to our client is wrong.

And we did not care how much work went into the case, nor what the recovery would be.

The case is ongoing.
