Adult Entertainment Law

We understand the adult entertainment field, the law, and where the two meet.  Some of our foundational First Amendment cases originated from the adult entertainment field.  It is for that reason that the firm has familiarity with adult entertainment law.  

Adult entertainment businesses have First Amendment needs, but they also have the same needs as all businesses: Tax advice, intellectual property protection, and employment law advice. However, when adult entertainment businesses are at issue, the law takes some unusual turns.

We know how to navigate those turns. Adult businesses’ similarity to normal business is as pronounced as its differences. The importance of intellectual property protection is pronounced, especially given the widespread piracy in the industry.  Further, since most of these businesses sell their product across international borders, you need lawyers who understand international intellectual property issues.  Marc Randazza has not only worked at IP firms in Europe, but has an LLM in international intellectual property law from the University of Torino, in Italy.
