Civil Rights Law

We are strongly committed to the protection of your civil rights. We are supporters of the Freedom From Religion Foundation and have worked against anti-marriage equality forces in Massachusetts, Florida, and California. In many such cases, there is no option but to litigate and we have proven not only our ability to do so, but our desire to ensure your Constitutionally guaranteed rights are protected. We handle civil rights matters of all kinds, but have a particular affinity and expertise in cases involving:

• Discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation
• Religious discrimination against atheists
• Discrimination against members of non-majority religions

Civil rights violations of all shades are intolerable, but we find that these groups in particular have been primary targets of anti-constitutionalists in the culture wars. Therefore, we are particularly committed to protecting them. We believe that a society is judged by how it treats its weakest, most underrepresented and least popular members, and take extra pains to ensure that people in those categories are not harmed by laws put forth by the majority.
