G.W. Bush recently spoke to troops in Afghanistan:
I must say, I’m a little envious,” Bush said. “If I were slightly younger and not employed here, I think it would be a fantastic experience to be on the front lines of helping this young democracy succeed.”
“It must be exciting for you … in some ways romantic, in some ways, you know, confronting danger. You’re really making history, and thanks,” Bush said. (source)
Hey, he’s young enough to mountain bike instead of being president.
If Bush were younger, he’d be using his connections to pull a cushy spot in the Texas Air National Guard, going AWOL, snorting coke, getting drunk and helping one of his daddy’s friends get elected.
I can’t believe that every soldier in that audience didn’t rush the stage and beat the living piss out of the dipshit-in-chief.
At least he’s done a heckuva job with the economy… oh wait…
